Emily has always loved skiing, her journey with the sport first began at 2 years old in France. Ski holidays with her family quickly transitioned into race camps, spending her teenage years at a ski racing academy in Italy. Emily went on to university and gained a Business Economics Degree. Since graduating, she has been doing back-to-back winters for over a decade, splitting her time between Courchevel, France and Coronet Peak, New Zealand.

Emily is a NZSIA Examiner and Tech Team member, as well as a BASI Trainer. She is the founder of Alpine Academy, her own ski instructor training school. Additionally, Emily is a member of the NZSIA Women’s Taskforce, where she passionately promotes equality and diversity within the Snowsports industry.

Emily is looking forward to working on NZSIA courses and hopes to see you all on the slopes soon.
