Jon first learnt to ski in 1985, qualified as an instructor in 2000 and has been in love with ski teaching ever since.
For the last decade he has been living the endless winter moving between a southern hemisphere based in Wanaka where he and his lovely wife now own a home. He spends his summers in the vast ski area of Les 3 Vallee in France where he is the co-owner of a small ski school called Sweet Snowsports.
He has qualified in quite a few systems over the years and became a trainer for NZSIA in 2012. He has also been serving as a trainer for BASI since 2011. In New Zealand Jon works as a trainer and instructor for Cardrona Alpine Resort.
