Yusuke is a current NZSIA Technical Team member as well as a member of Interski Team 2019 represented NZSIA in Bulgaria.
He was born and raised in the capital of powder skiing; Japan. However the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, he left Japan 2006, moved to Europe skiing long hard packed groomers after learning English in Canada and stayed in Europe for 8 years. His favourite resort is Dolomites in Italy as he spent 7 winters there.
Since 2015 he’s moved to New Zealand and has been involved in NZSIA. Finally found the middle ground skiing all year round between Japan and New Zealand. A bit of both powder and icy groomers. He splits his year working for Cardrona Alpine Resort NZ and Far East Snowsports Niseko Japan.
This lifestyle allows him to pursue his another passion, discovering the world. He has visited 87 nations in the world so far and planning to continue setting foot in as many countries as possible.
