Andrew Mowat also know as Drew hails from bonnie Scotland. With skateboarding from his early teens Drew decided to try snowboarding out with his first school trip to Italy. Ever since that adventure to Italy he was hooked on snowboarding and the winter environment.
His career started out in 2011 gaining his first snowboard qualification. With the passion for snow sports and teaching people he first arrived in Queenstown after working as a chalet host in France. After landing in Queenstown he scored his dream job as an instructor at Coronet Peak.
Once he had his first season under his belt he returned to the glens and rolling hills of Scotland. Here, he spent a few seasons working in Glenshee. After a short time back home he continued to instruct in different countries as Austria, America and Japan. He now follows the winter between The Remarkables, Queenstown and Hakuba in Japan.
When Drew isn’t snowboarding you can find him eating things in the kitchen following his passion of cooking and mixology. He also loves the outdoors and can be found hiking the hills around New Zealand. Whilst between seasons he can be found in different countries skateboarding and surfing.
