You may have noticed that we have suspended new bookings on courses for this coming NZ winter. Don’t worry, we just need to check what will be possible, then we will release the ability to book again.
We are keeping a close eye on the daily briefings from the Government about what will and will not be possible as the country moves through the different Government Alert Levels. We are confident that we will be able to operate in some capacity in Alert Level Two.
In the meantime, if you are keen to get involved in courses this season, then let us know. Here is a link to help the managers understand demand, resorts people will be based at and if you are in NZ or overseas: Course Interest Register.
As well as the traditional on snow courses, we will be taking to the online world with a webinar series and live streaming Course Walkthroughs.
Webinars
NZSIA and SBINZ will be running a series of webinars starting in May, covering some of our key methodologies and concepts. The webinars will take a detailed look at a particular topic and offer NZSIA members the opportunity to give input and ask questions, engaging with the presenter (a current Examiner from ski or snowboard division).
These will be hosted using Zoom and sign ups will be available for MEMBERS ONLY, however they will also be recorded and published to social channels at a later date.
Course Walkthrough Live Streams
This live streams will allow you to see what different courses are all about and fire up the stoke for when we get on snow. It will also provide opportunity to ask questions about anything related to that course, from the skiing/riding standards to the analysis process.
Watch our social accounts and this news feed for updates on both our Webinar series the Course Walkthroughs.
