Our 2021 season runs from the 2nd of July until the 19th of September, with work from the 30th of June until the 20th of September. Overview: Roundhill Ski Area is at Lake Tekapo in the Mackenzie Country of New Zealand. Our six lifts allow us to offer a diverse terrain mix to suit all ability levels while taking in breathtaking views of some of New Zealand’s most iconic landmarks. We have a fantastic beginner’s area with wide gentle runs and plenty of space. Our super wide undulating intermediate trails are just the right pitch to be exciting but not intimidating. For the more experienced, we offer Australasia’s Highest Vertical! Ride the Heritage Express Rope Tow to an elevation of 2133m and experience a whopping 783m of vertical! The Heritage Express accesses wide open spaces, natural half pipes, chutes, and some seriously steep terrain. Roundhill prides itself on an excellent customer service ethic. We are looking for friendly people with a neat appearance and a can-do attitude. We are a small, close-knit team who work hard and play hard. Snowsports Instructor position: Our snowsports school caters from beginner to intermediate ability levels in our childrens’ ski group lessons and beginners only in all adult and snowboard group lessons. We also offer private lessons for all ages and ability levels. We are intending to hire up to 12 snowsports instructors for our 2021 season. The minimum qualification we require is NZSIA Ski or Snowboard Level 1 or an international equivalent. For 2021 we will also accept applications from those who are not currently qualified but are willing to attend an NZSIA Ski Level 1 course pre-season.
