Kain grew up in country Victoria, immersing himself in garage punk rock bands and enthusiastically skateboarding throughout his youth. However, it wasn’t until his mid-twenties that he discovered snowboarding through close friends and a hand me down snowboard.
As it is commonly known, the touring band lifestyle is not everlasting, and eventually, band members part ways to pursue their individual paths. Kain made a decision at the age of 29 to join the SnowTrainers program at Coronet Peak. With unwavering determination, he embraced this new journey, finding a newfound love for snowboarding. This choice solidified his commitment to the snowboarding world and never looking back.
He is absolutely stoked to share his passion for the sport and industry by training others.
