Works at Cardrona
Hailing from a small surf town in the north island,
Hamish got his first taste of snowboarding at the age of 12 at whakapapa and has been hook-line-and-sinker ever since. It wasn’t until 2013 when he moved to the US that he got his first instructing job. Since then Hamish has worked in the US, Japan and Canada.
Calling Cardrona home in the winter, Hamish works within the HPC (High Performance Centre) and Snow sports School as a coach/instructor.
He loves the lifestyle, having the mountains as a office and being able to share meaningful experiences as a job.
When off snow hamish enjoys surfing, golf and hiking with friends and family.
