September update
The season is now starting to wrap up as we slowly work our way through New Zealand – heading up to the North Island soon. And speaking of North Island……. road trip!!
North Island 50th Anniversary Celebrations
We are on a road trip North – its time for our 50th celebrations North Island edition!! If you are in the North Island, and keen to celebrate – we would love you to join us!!
The plan is:
What: NZSIA North Island 50th Celebrations
When: Saturday 14th October 2023
Where: Powderkeg, 194 Mangawhero Terrace, Ohakune
Time: 630 pm
Whats Included: Champagne on arrival, wine & beer, canapes & platters – Cash bar after 930pm
Cost: $20
How to book: Through your NZSIA profile – NZSIA shop/General Purchases – you don’t need to be current to purchase a ticket.
Lift ticket deal: Anyone registered for this event will be able to get a $99 per day lift ticket at Whakapapa or Turoa over the weekend.
Accommodation: Powderhorn Chateau have provided us with an offer for the weekend:
$250 queen room
$150 Turoa lodge – basic lodging

Girls Day – Saturday 30th September – Cardrona
We had to cancel our last girls day due to the weather – we had over 50 girls between ski and snowboard signed up – amazing outcome!!
Luckily we managed to secure the female trainers for one more day, as we wanted to give this our best shot of making this day happen! If interested, please book through your profile: NZSIA profile – availability is limited.
The only thing we ask, because this course is free, it is easy to be a little chilled about attending or not. Please still operate in accordance with our NZSIA Conditions of Registration – once inside the last 10 days, please only pull off due to a medical event.

Getting current
We are getting to the end of the year…..membership is going to roll over on the 1st Jan 2024. Renewing for 2024 can be done through your profile – it can be done in advance (remember if you miss a year, fees accrue): https://www.nzsia.org/member/

- Headshot photo needs to be uploaded to your profile.
- A PDF version of your card will be created by the office and emailed to you once you have paid.
- If you require a physical card, you can purchase one from our online shop for $5 – NZSIA shop – through your profile
Booking on courses
Our New Zealand winter for 2024 will go online for bookng mid January 2024. The Northern Hemisphere is slowly coming online for booking – the availability will improve as we get our numbers firmed up with resorts. If a course is full, get your name on the waitlist so we know what the interest is and we can work on staffing or advise where the best options will be for you.
