Race One Certification

The Race One is to develop race coaching skills including course-setting, training environment and appropriate race demonstrations for ski instructors.

Pre-requisites: NZSIA Ski Level Two Certification (or foreign equivalent) or NZSIA Ski Level One Certification (or foreign equivalent and NZSIA Ski Level One eLearning) with proven race or coaching experience. You must be a full or associate member of the NZSIA.

Alpine Race Coach Certification

The focus of this 6 day qualification is to develop race coaching skills including coursesetting,
training environment and appropriate race demonstrations.

Pre-requisites: NZSIA Ski Level Three Certified Ski Instructors (or foreign equivalent) who are Full or Associate members of the NZSIA and have successfully completed the Race One Certification. NZSIA Ski Level Two Certified members who have previously registered with and raced under Snow Sports NZ may be admitted at the discretion of the Course Manager.

All candidates must have completed the Intro to Coaching Seminar BEFORE attending this course.

You must be a full or associate member of the NZSIA.
