Telemark Development Day
This day is an informal day open to any member or associate member with a Telemark qualification. We will bring you up to date with any new developments within our Telemark world and give guidance to those that wish. Attending this course will also allow you to remain ISIA current for those that require this.
The course could include:
- Beginners – setting a good foundation
- Steeps
- Bumps
- On piste edging techniques
- Equipment new and old, and the differences
- Teaching intermediates – where and what
- Dealing with the expert alpine crossover skier
- Telemark Certification Standards – understanding what is expected
- Change your lead, change your performance

Pre-requisites: This is open to any associate member or full member of NZSIA with a Telemark Instructing Certification.

Telemark Level Three Development Day
This one-day course is for the candidate that has gained a NZSIA Telemark level Two (or international equivalent) and is planning on taking NZSIA Telemark Level Three or is doing a re-sit of part of a past Level Three Exam.
The course will predominantly be around the framework and expected level required to gain and work toward the level 3 course and exam. Feedback will be given throughout the day to all participants so that they will know what is required of them and tasks that will help them in the build up to the Level Three course.
This is not a pass-fail day.
