Instructor Training Providers

Preparation training for Levels One, Two and Three is available through some Snowsports Schools, Otago Polytechnic and Private Training Organisations. Training programmes range from weekend courses over a number of weeks to full-time courses for those candidates who may prefer a full package of training and accommodation.

All NZSIA/SBINZ exams contain days of instruction and coaching prior to assessment so prior/extra training is not mandatory. This information acts as a starting point for candidates who may be interested in extra training prior to NZSIA/SBINZ courses. Candidates are encouraged to explore all their options and ensure programmes meet their specific requirements.
